Our journey began in 1946 with Elder Fred E. Gimlin, State Missionary for Meremac Association and a wonderful group of Missionary Baptists.
Among our beliefs is the realization of heaven and hell and that salvation is by grace through faith, eternally secured by God.
As a missionary Baptist church, we at Faith Baptist Church support the Baptist Missionary Assocation of America.
Welcome to Faith Baptist Church
The church stands and “earnestly contends for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints,” thereby becoming stronger than ever in Baptist Beliefs. Our prayer is that Faith Baptist Church will continue to serve until the time of “the glorious appearing of our great and marvelous God and our Savior Jesus Christ.”
Believing church membership to be vital to the growth of every Christian, we at Faith Baptist Church receive members in the following ways:
Baptism: Following their profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, believers are taught by the Bible to follow the Lord in baptism (by immersion).
Letter: Those who belong to a church of like faith and order may be received by transfer of letter.
Statement: One who has professed faith in Christ as their personal Savior, and has been baptized by the authority of a church of like faith and order may be received on their statement of faith.
